I’m a 3D artist and animator, filmmaker, and musician based in Menlo Park, CA. I was born in Sacramento, CA and have lived in California my whole life. I like to model, texture, and animate aircraft as well as various characters, props, and scenes. Additionally, I enjoy writing music, creating short films, doing photography, and making games.
During my junior year and senior year of high school, I took 3D modeling classes and have been modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating since the fall of 2017. As a result of 40 hours of work per week in my second semester, my strengths in 3D art lie in 3D modeling, rigging, and animation, although I have also been exploring VFX. During my senior year I began producing models that reached closer to industry standard and earned me the Rotary Club of Menlo Park 2019 Academic Achievement Award for Career and Technical Education. My teacher deemed me "Best Tech Modeler Ever!" In my teacher's own words, I had exceeded his abilities which wouldn't have been possible without his quality teaching skills and my hard work.
Around the same time I started writing music inspired by rock, folk, and more from the mid 1960's to the mid 1970's. Over the past few years, I have since taken inspiration from a broad variety of disparate genres from unique eras in music, such as jazz from the late 1950's or hyperpop from the 2010's and 2020's.
I took a gap year and then started as a freshman at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University - Prescott, in 2020, studying aerospace engineering. After a year, I switched my major to Simulation Science, Games, and Animation. During my second year in my new major, I worked on a game, called Ham Fisted, with my friend Jacob Jeffcoat. I worked on the 3D modeling, texturing, and soundtrack. As a result, he and I were selected by our professors to attend and present our game on the expo floor at GDC 2023 in San Francisco.
In spring semester of 2023, I took an interactive media class. I have been working on a video series of short films inspired by the stylistic direction of Yellow Submarine (the 1968 animated film), and the storytelling devices of the lore centric videos of The Filthy Frank Show (albeit not employing the same controversial humor or shock value).
